King Fantastic is a hip hop duo from LA, with Killer Reese on the mic and Troublemaker on the beats. Both came from different backgrounds but teamed up in 2010 to explore “west coast synthesizer beach bum gangster music,” and released their debut album, Finger Snaps and Gun Claps. A few months back they released their 4 track SocioPoliticalPimpTalk EP, and just yesterday released the remixes to these tracks on an EP titled Socializing with Pimps.

“Jamaica” was self remixed, but both did their own take on the original. Troublemaker did a solo remix, while Reese did a remix with his duo, Bleu Collar, and Pac Div.  My favorite though has got to be Different Sleep’s remix of “Guide to Safely Petting Cougars”.
