Welcome to the obscure musical world of Gummy. Hailing from Orange County, this duo has opened for the likes of Tritonal, Mat Zo, Nadastrom, Swedish Egil, TON!C, and have a residency at the EmazingLights’ weekly Friday Night Lights.

This Mix is solidly focused on breaking and rebuilding pre-existing genres in Gummy’s own trap-infused image and likeness. Their musical stylings and mixing techniques are reminiscent of pioneers like Flosstradamus: fluid, expert, and smart. The mix is brimming with their own unique and extremely creative remixes of well-known electro house bangers like Quintino & Sandro Silva‘s massive track “Epic”, Dada Life’s “Kick Out the Epic Motherfucher“, and an serene take on Guru Josh Project‘s song “Infintiy“. The mix goes hard, but it maintains a playfulness that shows a keen awareness of how audiences respond on the dance floor. They know what a crowd needs and they provide it.

This Thursday, Gummy will be headlining Into the AM‘s new weekly event at Buster‘s in Long Beach. Do not miss this.
