Nearly a month ago, San Diego bred but Long Beach resident Porkchop released his ‘It’s Woogie Time’ LIB 2012 Mixtape. The mixtape was first released tentatively to help him win a chance to be on stage with his older brother Mikey Lion – another amazing DJ – at music festival Lightening in a Bottle. Though, he was unable to win the contest, this eccentric sound has had (not just me) but his fans doing the boogie woogie. Not sure if boogie woogie is a type of dance, but if it was this song would make you do it. The mixtape is an hour long ride of mellow sounds, mixed with a little bit of funk with the gracious quality electric sound we love. This mixtape will have you smiling from euphoric sounds in the beginning, and then my friends its time to woogie.
